FLOW MOTION JAM - PROGR BERN, 8. DEZEMBER 2024
Come and move with us!
Flow with or against the current!
Are you open for unexpected encounters with yourself and others?
The Flow Motion Jam is a guided improvisation structure that offers plenty of room for discoveries and moments of surprise. It consists of four 20-minute movement inputs led by Anna, Cynthia, Moritz and Chris.
In between, there is always open space where you can dance, move and meet each other freely.
You can join in at any time and immerse yourself in the improvisation.
And taking a break and observing is always welcome.
Cynthia Gonzalez, Anna Blöchlinger, Moritz Blöchlinger and Chris Leuenberger are four dance and theater makers who form the new team of Espacio Encuentro. Together they conceived the Flow Motion Jam, a movement format that is constantly evolving.
STRUCTURE
from 14:45 Arrival
15:00 Input # 1 Chris Leuenberger - moving from the breath
What happens when we focus our attention on the breath, let ourselves be moved by different breathing rhythms and enter into a dialog with each other through breathing sounds?
15:30 Input # 2 Anna Blöchlinger - Pulse Focus Creation
Pulse and repetitive patterns give us a framework. The focus on individual body parts that want to be moved leads us into as yet unknown processes. The body as an instrument sings and speaks - we listen to it when we move, vary steps, follow impulses, set accents. A surprising rhythmic dance creation for everyone!
16:00 Input # 3 Moritz Blöchlinger - Opposites
We move slowly but fast, quietly but loudly. We jump high but low. And we fall hard but soft.
16:30 Input # 4 Cynthia Gonzalez - Khoomii song-dance walk on the topic of I, You, We and what moves us inside
We move, we meet our inner voice softly and gently, dynamically and powerfully. A short moving inner journey into the here, now and beyond to ancient Mongolian melodies sung by Valentin Oppermann. A subtle, powerful and intense inner walk that inspires us to confront ourselves and the present moment.
17:00 - 17:15 Closing, exchange
